Travel ARMY tips

For ARMY traveling to other cities to see a show — or just visiting and wanting to meet local fans. The rules are short.

  • Search the city hashtag a week before you fly

    Most ARMY chapters announce pre-show meetups, cupsleeves, and freebie hand-outs on Twitter/X under the city's ARMY tag. A week is enough lead time to know what's happening.

  • Local ARMY is hosting you — show up generous

    Bring small freebies if you can. Even handwritten notes work. Don't expect to be hosted privately — meetups are public and that's the point.

  • Don't post anyone else's face without asking

    Meetup photos are great. Cropping in strangers without consent is not. Ask before you post — every fandom in every country has the same rule.

  • Translate something into the local language

    Even one banner phrase in Korean / Spanish / Tagalog / French makes the welcome feel earned. Use the translation accounts in the directory if you need help.

  • Pre-show plazas are sacred

    Most stadium shows have an unofficial ARMY plaza for the day-of. Cup-sleeves, freebies, photocards. Treat it as a public ARMY living room — quiet, clean, kind.

  • If you're traveling solo, say so

    Most local chapters have solo-traveler threads — they will fold you into the day. You don't need to be loud. You just need to ask.

  • Take the show home

    Bring back a freebie or note from local ARMY to your own city's next meetup. The network is small and the kindness compounds.

Submissions open your mail client addressed to [email protected]. We do not store your email beyond the conversation needed to confirm listing. We review within 7 days.

Why this page does not have an interactive map (yet)

ARMY's safety has always come first. Interactive maps make it easy to drift from city-level to neighborhood-level to address-level — and once that data is published, it can't be un-published. v1 is a structured directory. If we add a visual map later, it will honor the same rules: city-level pins only, consent-gated, no individual people, no visitor geo-location.
